Haleh Arami Rezaei – Piano Teacher | Music Educator
Haleh Arami Rezaei is a distinguished piano teacher and music educator with over two decades
of experience in teaching piano performance and music theory. Her teaching approach reflects a
rich blend of classical training, pedagogical depth, and an ongoing passion for educational
research and innovation.
Haleh began her musical journey at the age of 9 under the guidance of Ms. F. Tafazzoli. Her
studies continued with several of Iran’s most respected pianists and music educators, including
Andre Moradian, Golriz Hashemi, Dr. K. Roshanravan, and Sharif Lotfi. Over the years, she has
built a reputation for excellence in music instruction, preparing students for various performance
opportunities and Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations, supported by her RCM
teaching certifications.
Deeply committed to educational growth, Haleh has explored effective teaching methods with a
special interest in the Suzuki method and its "mother-tongue" philosophy. Her translation and
compilation of several related articles were published in the Journal of the Center for the
Development of Art Education in Iran, contributing to the broader discourse on early childhood
music education in her home country.
Beyond the classroom, Haleh is an active performer and collaborator, having participated in
numerous recitals and international music festivals. She has performed in duets with renowned
artists and, in 2019, founded the Navaye Hanooz Trio (Hanooz Ensemble). The group has
released three original singles under the Zang Records label, reflecting her interest in ensemble
performance and contemporary music creation.
Her scholarly contributions include the Persian translations of two important music texts: "A
Guide to the Proper Use of Pianoforte Pedals" by Alexandre N. Bokhovtsev (Honaremusighi,
2019) and "Managing Stage Fright" by Julie J. Nagel (Honaremusighi, 2020), offering valuable
resources to Persian-speaking musicians and educators.
Haleh is an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) and Suzuki
Music/Musique Canada (SMMC), staying engaged with an international community of
educators committed to high-quality, student-centered music instruction.
In addition to her musical achievements, Haleh holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Iran
University of Science and Technology (IUST), with professional experience in Quality
Management System (QMS) design and implementation—a testament to her analytical mindset
and diverse skill set.
With a teaching philosophy rooted in discipline, creativity, and deep personal connection, Haleh
Arami Rezaei continues to inspire a new generation of pianists and music lovers around the
world.
